WHAT’S IN IT FOR ME?
That’s an easy question to answer. The Club is there for many different people who may be looking for various things.
The beginner who is not sure how much he wants to spend on his golf and who wants to play in competitions, get a handicap for say 2 to 3 years before moving onto a Private Club at around £1,200 per year.
Golfers, that have been members of Private Clubs, who cannot play as much as they used to and who cannot justify the cost.
Players that just can’t afford it in these difficult times.
Cadets who want to learn the game and the rules with their schoolmates. We will be offering the cheapest possible entry to this great game to anyone attending any Southend school or ‘under 18’s living in the Borough.
Players that have recently retired and now have much more time on their hands to play. We have an active set of members that play on a Wednesday morning and during the Summer Months Friday evenings.
The Club enjoys Tee Reservations on Saturday & Sunday mornings and this avoids disappointment.
